An E-learning kit for parents, teachers and other professionals who care for transgender children and adolescents
Gires (the Gender Identity Research and Education Society) is a volunteer operated membership charity that, in collaboration with the other groups in its field, hears, helps, empowers and gives a voice to trans and gender non-conforming individuals, including those who are non-binary and non-gender, as well as their families.
The Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (SABP) and the Gender Identity Research and Education Society (GIRES) have jointly developed an e-learning kit to help teachers or people in the medical profession understand the needs of transgender or gender nonconforming children and adolescents and how to safeguard and care for them. SABP and GIRES have also printed leaflets for:-

- Families
- Information and signposting
- Professionals
